Spin-off of the only 100% Brazilian game ever nominated for The Game Awards launches on July 14 with special surprises

The highly anticipated Arashi Gaiden, a spin-off of Pocket Bravery, will officially launch on July 14, 2025, for PC via Steam, and consoles soon after. The announcement took place during Omelete Games Direct, one of the main conferences at Gamescom LATAM 2025, hosted by Rodrigo Coelho, a partner at Nuntius Games.

The release date reveal capped off the conference with a bang, showcasing a flurry of new gameplay scenes, stages, enemies, and never-before-seen moves. Watch the full trailer here:

Arashi Gaiden is a turn-based action game set in the same universe as Pocket Bravery, focusing on tactical combat and intense storytelling. The game blends stylized pixel art, fluid animations, and deep battle systems to deliver strategic yet dramatic encounters.

The game is being developed by the renowned Statera Studio, in collaboration with Wired Dreams Studio, a team known for fan-acclaimed turn-based action games. Publishing is handled by Nuntius Games, a Brazilian publisher founded by content creators and industry veterans.

Artist Guilherme “Gaiden” Cyriaco, responsible for the game’s pixel art and animations, celebrated the moment with an emotional message:

“I’m genuinely happy that players will finally get to experience what we’ve been working on. There’s so much care poured into every aspect of this game. I’m really excited to see how people will react to the surprises we’ve prepared for the final version.”

The developers also highlighted that a free demo of Arashi Gaiden is already available and emphasized how important community support is. They encourage fans to wishlist the game on Steam to boost its visibility and keep everyone updated:

Although Statera Studio and Nuntius Games are separate companies, both share the same leadership, with Jonathan Silva as CEO. He expressed his excitement about bringing both ventures together in this project:

“It’s a tremendous honor to launch Arashi Gaiden under the Statera x Nuntius partnership. This is just the beginning, Arashi Gaiden is the first of many titles Statera will produce and Nuntius will publish. While it might seem simple, for me this is another dream come true. After all, I can’t just publish other developers’ games, I have to publish mine too. Nuntius Games is here to stay, and I couldn’t be happier.”

The publisher also teased that a new announcement tied to the Statera x Nuntius partnership will be revealed soon and is expected to excite many fans of the studios’ shared universe.
