Pimbolas is a local multiplayer party game for up to four players, where traditional foosball matches are transformed with new mechanics, creating exciting battles full of strategy, quick reflexes, and plenty of fun.

With simple controls and fast-paced matches, players must master movement, make the most of different power-ups, and seize every opportunity to score goals and defeat their friends.

In addition to local multiplayer, the game also features an Arcade Mode against the CPU, allowing players to complete challenges and unlock new characters and items.

To build Pimbolas’ identity, the team looked for inspiration in some of the most entertaining multiplayer games of recent years, including Boomerang Fu, Mario Strikers, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros., and Mario Tennis.

According to the developers, players who enjoy experiences such as Overcooked, Gang Beasts, Castle Crashers, Party Animals, and Boomerang Fu will likely find Pimbolas familiar, while still discovering a unique experience built around chaos and fun.

A Brazilian game Inspired by Soccer

Pimbolas was born from a very special combination: Brazil’s passion for soccer and Nano Knight Studio’s desire to transform a classic experience into something new and fun.

For the team, launching a football-inspired game as a Brazilian studio is a source of great pride, especially during such an important moment for the sport.

The team’s goal is for players in Brazil and around the world to discover the universe of Pimbolas and enjoy a unique experience full of personality.

An open universe for new collaborations

In addition to the game’s character customization options, Pimbolas was also designed with future collaborations in mind.

The first announced partnership is with Shard Squad, a game developed by The Root Studios and also published by Nuntius Games. This collaboration will be available at launch, bringing new content into the world of Pimbolas.

Nano Knight Studio is already working on additional collaborations, which will be announced in the future.
