BloodRush: Undying Wish receives The Constellation Update

BloodRush: Undying Wish has just received the The Constellation Update, the first major content update since the game launched in Early Access on Steam. This update kicks off the official roadmap, bringing new content, systems, and community-requested features.

BloodRush is a pixel-art roguelike hack’n slash that blends intense combat with creative and flexible builds. The focus is on expression through combat, allowing players to improvise, dodge enemies with style, and explore unique synergies between weapons, talents, and sins. Watch the new trailer:

Key update highlights

BloodRush: Undying Wish already debuted with plenty of content for an Early Access title, but the Constellation Update brings even more, alongside major improvements. Here are the main additions arriving today:

• New Weapon – Star of Yore: a powerful projectile that returns to the player and can be repeatedly deflected.
• Constellation System: dynamic difficulty modifiers to customize the player experience. Examples include:
• Cepheus, the King: bosses become more powerful and aggressive.
• Crux, the Southern Cross: bleeding becomes deadlier and faster.
• Gemini, the Twins: two random Corruptions are added to the run.
• New NPCs:
• Lampião: a laid-back lamplighter who crosses paths with the player.
• Jules: a decadent smoker with a sharp tongue who helps unlock Talents and Sins.
• Don Coveiro: a living armor with a skull for a head who upgrades the player’s weapons.
• Devotion Talents: a new category of highly impactful talents with both powerful benefits and heavy drawbacks:
• Burning Heart: +100 maximum Blood, but lose 75 Blood per arena.
• Crimson & Scarlet: recover Blood with all melee damage, but capped at 40% of max Blood.
• Thread of Death: the Cord no longer has cooldown, but you lose one Dash charge.
• Steam Achievements: added by popular community request.

Roadmap
