Multiplayer horror hit gets a themed event, new content, a skin system, and much more

The horror phenomenon Damned 2, developed by 9heads Game Studios and published by Nuntius Games, has just received its highly anticipated Halloween Update 2025. The game, which became one of the most streamed horror titles on Twitch and YouTube, continues to grow with frequent updates and fresh content.

The new update introduces seasonal decorations, new challenges, exclusive rewards, a skin system, and the brand-new game mode “Relic Hunt.”

New Game Mode: Relic Hunt

The Relic Hunt mode adds a completely new way to play Damned 2. Survivors must explore the maps to find cursed relics, bring them to the elevator, and offer tributes to unlock their escape.

Each relic has its own weight, value, and possible curses, which changes the pace of every match, creating that “organized chaos” fans of asymmetrical horror games love. Heavier relics require teamwork to carry, while cursed ones can make everything far more unpredictable.

Listening to community feedback, the update also adds a Custom Difficulty System that allows players to adjust challenge levels, creating a tailored experience for both newcomers and veterans.

New Skin System and Challenges

This update introduces the new cosmetic reward system in Damned 2. Players can now unlock flashlight skins by completing tasks and challenges during the Halloween event.

Some flashlights feature different light colors and UV beams, which can reveal hidden messages and secrets scattered across the maps.

Players who complete the toughest challenges can unlock exclusive animated banners, including:

Special Halloween Decorations

All Damned 2 maps, including the lobby and main menu, have received Halloween-themed decorations. Players can also discover hidden messages and lore fragments by using the flashlight’s UV light in specific locations, deepening the game’s atmosphere and mystery.

Halloween Event

The Halloween Update 2025 marks the beginning of Damned 2’s official Halloween Event, running from October 20 to December 1.

This is your chance to create content for the sequel to the game that started the asymmetrical horror genre. If you still don’t have your key, simply reply to this email and we’ll send it as soon as possible. If you need additional keys, tell us your content plan for Damned 2 and we’ll review it.
